First Homebrew Campaign

Christmastime!!!!!!  The party noticed it snowing (roughly mid June) as they left the Redwood Forest. Emmley noticed tracks going to and from every city, with a small blood trail leading back to the south. They followed the blood trail that led them back to......... Schrute Farms. After following the trail to the basement of the farmhouse, they came to a huge opening with Christmas themed monsters roaming around, burning and carrying bodies. They followed the small path to a tiny corridor, and as they entered through the corridor, Emmley was the last to go through. As she passed the christmas tree, she was smacked by one of the branches, starting the encounter with the cursed christmas tree and the mimic presents.  In the next room was a hoard of evil elves (redcaps). The following room had a crooked spined creature in a Santa coat. Krampus.  The party engaged with Krampus and he ended up throwing Rogar in his sack. Emmley then attempted to cut the strap with her daggers...

The party decide with the closure of Baleek to venture out to the east. They soon came across a large village of trolls that they successfully sneaked past and came across a nearby farm, Schrute Farms.  They met Dwight and Rogar helped plow the fields, Niamh milked the cows, Emmley collected eggs and sheered the sheep.. kind of. She snipped the ear off of one. Dwight thanked them for their help and sent them on their way towards Wrine, the trading city. On their way they seen a Dire Bear which they snuck passed to enter town. As they entered, Emmley went to shop, and Niamh, the intimidator, intimidated the bear from attacking the town. As the bear left, they were greeted by the head of the guardsmen. She told the party that they were having a feast tonight for a guest and they were invited for helping protect the town. During the feast, they seen a man in white robes staring at them during the whole dinner. After confronting the head guardswoman, she informed them that he was from ...

Debura sent the party to demolish the Kingdom of Robel from the inside out. He mentioned his butler, Sebas, had been there scouting the area. Upon entering Robel, they met up with the informant. Sebas told the party that the 5 advisors of the king run the kingdom while the king never leaves the castle. Once a week they meet, and they are in said meeting at the time. As the advisors left the castle and went their separate ways, the party followed one of them to the north east towards the docks.  Upon reaching the docks, they quickly learned Olson wasn't very friendly. As a shipment arrived, they searched the barrels and got a copy of the ledger. From what they could tell, nothing fishy was going on. Emmley wanted to throw one of the barrels into the water (failed her check) and fell in with the barrel. As she made it back to shore, she seen another advisor looking sketchy and go into a house. The party followed and found that the advisors were having their nightly card game. All of ...

The characters were once again called from their rooms, to speak with Debby in the arena. This time, he wasn't as playful. He asked the party to attack the city they began their journey in, Bebad. The king was corrupt and was stealing all of the money from the guild, taking more taxes than normal, and letting his people die. Debura was expelling the dragons from the orbs, sending them ahead to destroy Bebad. The party shortly headed out to the city.  Upon entering Bebad, they were immediately shot at and fought their way into the main castle. The guards gave the party a rough fight before they were inside the main castle, but they made their way inside while undead stormed the city, assisting in the takeover.  The party fought through archers, clerics, and the king.  As the king fell, a portal opened and a guardian from Baleek came through, throwing the corpses back through. 

Debura gave the party a quest. He had heard of a medicine man / potion maker in a nearby town and wanted them to bring him back to Baleek. The party agreed to assist and shortly took off. Once getting to the town, they noticed chaos. The villagers were trying to get ready for the next attack. They found the target they were looking for and quickly questioned him. The barbarian quickly went for brute force, and the small human resisted. He told them he needed to help protect the village and then he would do whatever they needed him to do, but this was his priority. The party took his keys to the hut, locked him in, and had Rogar keep guard. Shortly after, the howls began again. A set of dire wolves appeared and the party defended the city. Then a deeper, larger howl drew closer. A hellhound. Once the party had defeated the encounter, they quickly returned to Nfirea and returned to Baleek.  The next morning, Debby told the party he had presents for them.  Barbados, the barbaria...

 After waking, the party was called upon by Debby by one of the maids, Entoma. Entoma escorted the party to the throne room. Debby asked the party if they knew what a dragon orb was (holds the soul of the dragon) and that he required them for something he had been planning. It was a perfect opportunity for the party to get more experienced. There were 4 in total, he knew where 3 of them were. He held the black orb. He asked the party to get the red and gold one. After telling the party the whereabouts of the orbs, and giving them a totem that would teleport them back to Baleek, the party left.  The party explored the first cave to find a couple of giants calling it home. After slaying the pair of hill giants, and almost killing Barbados, the party grabbed the red orb and headed to collect the second. Upon entering the cave where the second orb lay, the encountered a strange man standing over it. A portal opened behind the party, the strange man turned around and he looked a lo...

 After entering town for their reward, the party noticed everyone was gone. Nothing was there, nobody in the streets. It was empty. The party got their reward, learned an army from the south was attacking and everyone in town was outside attempting to defend.  Emmley saw this as an opportunity to break into a first class citizens home and rummage through everything. Upon not finding "a stack of gold just sitting there" (her words) they exited to assist the townsfolk.  As the army appeared from the south, the army of Bebad readied. A shadow dragon flew overhead and used his breath weapon on the opposing army, taking out 75%+. Bebad's army was roughly 300 people to Robel's 1500+. Robel's army retreated, the dragonrider Axio landed, forced his way into the kings tent through his guards, and asked for the strongest of warriors. Otherwise, he would destroy Bebad. The king was at a loss for words, but he insured Axio that nobody would join him. Axio exited the tent and ...
